Kodiak Represents the Future of the Gulf CoastIn the days leading up to the August 29, 2006 anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, The Sun Herald, the most widely read paper on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, devoted special issues to the storm and its aftermath. For the front page of its August 27 Sunday edition, the paper chose a picture of a Kodiak Steel Homes® model to represent its focus on rebuilding and the future of the region. The massive red-iron frame shown in the picture is a Windmaster Bayside that was under construction in Ocean Springs, Mississippi.
